Mark attended Lasswade High School in Midlothian before studying at the University of Edinburgh with help from the Pathways to the Professions scheme. He graduated in 2014 and is now pursuing a career in anaesthesia in the South East of Scotland. He is passionate about widening participation at medical school and creating equal opportunities for all University applicants.
