Join us!

You Can Be A Doctor is getting bigger. If you're passionate about widening participation in Medicine why not apply to join our board or become a trustee? We're looking for motivated people to help us reach more pupils than ever and continue building our charity.

We're looking for people at all stages of training, from first year medical student to seasoned consultant. Lived experience of Widening Participation backgrounds is helpful but, wherever you're from, if you're interested and want to help, we'd love to hear from you!

Welcome to You Can Be A Doctor, a Scottish charity dedicated to breaking down barriers and empowering individuals from underprivileged backgrounds to pursue a career in medicine. Our mission is to create equal opportunities for all aspiring doctors, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
